Moffat House Hotel in Dumfriesshire, Scotland has come to market with an asking price of £1.25m.
The three-star, 21-bedroom hotel is set in two acres in the spa town of Moffat and has been owned by the same family for the past 10 years.
The property is currently part of the Best Western franchise and is on the market with Savills.
The country mansion was originally built for the 2nd Earl of Hopetoun in the 1790s.
The house comprises a main block with two wings that was transformed into a hotel in 1950, which of late has proven to be a successful wedding and event venue.
The sale of Moffat House Hotel includes a two bedroom cottage located on site.
