Shining Star

This year’s winner of the Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Shining Star Award was Samuele Cucino from Billesley Manor.

Over the past 12 months Samuele has helped to organise a number of events to draw guests in and spend time in the bar area at Billesley Manor. Most recently, he was involved in a Peaky Blinders evening which required a lot of research into the 1920s era to pinpoint the classic themes and styles to really make the event look spectacular.

Samuele is always trying to find ways to use his initiative and inspire his teammates. His enthusiasm for events like the Peaky Blinders evening and hard work for the Bar 22 inspires others members of the team to step forward and bring their ideas to the table too. Simple things such as creating a new recipe for our Cocktail of the Week promotion offers a great opportunity to add his own flare to the bar.
