Uniform manufacturer, Simon Jersey, re-launched in January this year and has unveiled a striking new collection of outfits designed exclusively for the boutique hotel sector.
With a heritage spanning 43 years, the company was acquired in early 2014, putting the business back in British ownership with a view to target new hospitality markets.
Simon Jersey’s new boutique hotel range, consisting of more than 30 styles, has been designed especially with the staff members at these establishments in mind. The collection incorporates light and dark shades of contemporary black-denim, which falls in line with the current trends from designers and the high street.
The range features in the new 40-page 2015 catalogue, and introduces a new sleeveless tunic, a variety of denim aprons and accessories such as braces, skinny ties and a leather pouch for convenience. A new colour palette has also been developed, with shirts and blouses available in boysenberry, turquoise, charcoal and sage.
James Saunders managing director said at yesterday’s catwalk preview event: “We wanted to come back onto the market with a bang so it’s very exciting. Re-launching the business gave us the chance to try new things and we are basically rediscovering our strengths. This new boutique collection has been developed in line with the needs of employees working in boutique hotels and since its release three weeks ago, the feedback we have received has been great.”
