The Stafford London in St James’s will be screening the wedding in The American Bar, The Lounge, and The Game Bird restaurant. Furthermore, they will be offering special dishes and cocktails on the day, including Grilled Dover sole with Dubonnet sauce and Boîtes des fraises Reine Elizabeth. The five-star hotel’s classic afternoon tea will also be given a celebratory twist, with sandwiches including Jam “pennies” and Coronation chicken, and sweet treats such as Victoria sponge with strawberry jam.

Royal Afternoon Tea at Emmeline’s Lounge

To honour The Royal Wedding, Emmeline’s Lounge at Conrad London St James is launching a Royal Afternoon Tea featuring quintessentially British sandwiches alongside exquisite cakes and pastries by Executive Pastry Chef Diana Sedlakova. A Hazelnut and banana veil sits elegantly alongside Diamond rings flavoured with tonka bean and strawberry, and guests will also be presented with a Lemon and elderflower lollipop in the style of a wedding favour and inspired by the flavours of Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake.

In the same spirit of regal celebration, Conrad London St James is also offering the Propose like a Prince engagement package to entice lovers to follow Prince Harry’s lead. The package includes a luxurious 2-night stay, Royal Afternoon Tea and horse-drawn carriage tour. Furthermore, two Royal Wedding cocktails will be available from the Blue Boar Bar this May, allowing guests to toast the happy couple.

Wonderful Windsor with The Goring

With the spotlight very much shining on Windsor this May, The Goring are offering guests to the five-star luxury Belgravia hotel the opportunity to visit the historic royal residence during their stay in London. The package includes a private tour of Windsor Castle, taking in the fascinating history of the beautiful town and the famous royal home. This will be followed by the chance to explore the magnificent State Apartments and Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House – the largest and most famous dolls’ house in the world. From Monday to Saturday, the tour will also include a visit to St George’s Chapel which is the spiritual home of the Order of the Garter, whilst Sunday tours will explore the Grounds and Royal Park. Returning to London, guests will spend the night at The Goring, followed by breakfast the next morning.

A Royal Feast at Plum + Spilt Milk

Diners can celebrate the Royal Wedding with a very British feast for two at Plum + Spilt Milk. In honour of Prince Harry’s proposal over a roast chicken, executive chef Mike Denman is serving a Herb-fed while free range chicken, brined & butter roasted breasts, duck fat confit legs, slow roasted garlic bread sauce, alongside sautéed new potatoes, parsley butter and seasonal vegetables.

Royal Tea at The Rubens

The Rubens at The Palace Hotel sits on Buckingham Palace Road, a stone’s throw from all Royal action. They will be offering a themed Wedding Afternoon Tea in honour of the upcoming Royal Wedding. The tea will include Elderflower and lemon cheesecake, to match the wedding cake chosen by the happy couple, as well as Chocolate biscuit cake, in honour of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding cake in 2011. To make sure this is a real royal occasion, there will even be Jammy Dodger biscuits, a childhood favourite to honour the new baby Prince. Guests can also order ‘A Wedding Story’ cocktail, combining British and American flavours, including Chapter 11 English Whisky, Balblair 99 Bourbon infused sugar cube, Rubens homemade Champagne Vermouth and a touch of Lanson Fizz. There will also be a special ‘Meghan Sparkle’ cocktail served from the hotel’s bbar.


A Royal Celebration at Palé Hall, North Wales

Palé Hall will be hosting A Royal Celebration on 19 May from 12pm, which will include a glass of champagne upon arrival, full afternoon tea from the hotel’s exciting new head pastry chef Adam Cleal, and a screening of the wedding. The decadent afternoon tea includes innovative treats such as Popcorn and banana caramel macarons and Passionfruit, mango and coconut petit gateaux. Guests will be encouraged to dress up in classic wedding attire to commemorate this regal day in style.
