Six-figure funding package sees Argyll hotel change hands

Craig Villa

Craig Villa Guest House in Argyll is under new ownership, thanks to a six-figure funding package from Royal Bank of Scotland.

The popular guest house was purchased by husband and wife team and first-time business owners Ewan and Taryn Diven in March after searching for two years for the right property.

Craig Villa Guest House is home to five bedrooms and also includes facilities for a massage and sports therapy clinic.

Ewan and Taryn Diven, owners and operators of Craig Villa Guest House, said: “After an extensive two-year search, we found the home and business of our dreams. With the sellers intent on making a quick sale and another prospective buyer hot on our heels, we would not have been able to make our dream a reality without the fast and reliable service provided by Royal Bank of Scotland.

Alan McNair, relationship manager at Royal Bank of Scotland, said: “It has been a pleasure working with Ewan and Taryn to secure funding for Craig Villa Guest House. Their drive and vision for the accommodation will no doubt see it become a go-to destination for tourists visiting the area and we wish them every success for the future.”
