Sketchley Grange Hotel makes two new appointments as new look brings in the business


Sketchley Grange Hotel and Spa in Hinckley has made two new appointments to its team, following a multi-million pound makeover across the hotel.

Jo Phillips has been appointed sales manager at the four-star hotel, while Ian Reynolds takes on the role of restaurant manager.

Phillips said the hotel is ‘back on the radar’ after the refurbishment and is bidding to ‘make its mark in the Midlands’.

She has also met with many local business and says that there is a substantial amount of business on the books for Christmas and the New Year.

Reynolds joins Matfen Hall from his role of food and beverage manager at Scalford Hall Hotel in Melton.

He said: “My aim is to add to the already flourishing reputation that the Garden Restaurant has by driving the service standards and products that all of our guests over the years have come to expect.”

The 30-year-old hotel recently underwent a multi-million-pound makeover, including a new bar and lounge area, upgraded guest bedrooms and improvements to the spa, gym and leisure amenities.
