Sky Business backs search for boutique hotel stars

Sky Business is backing our search to find the true champions of the boutique hotel industry by becoming a networking sponsor of the 2015 Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Stars.

The leading provider of in-room entertainment and sport for hotel operators can today be unveiled as the latest company to confirm its involvement with the awards, which are now in their second year.

Sky Business offers hotel operators access to a range of must-see movies, entertainment and live sporting action through packages tailored specifically for the hospitality industry.

Alison Dolan, deputy managing director of Sky Business, said: “We’re delighted to be a sponsor of the Boutique Hotelier Awards, which recognise the hard work that so many people put in to ensuring the comfort of their guests.

“Quality of experience is so important so it’s fantastic that these awards celebrate the individuals and the teams and go the extra mile to give each and every guest the most comfortable and pleasant stay they can.”

The awards will recognise hard-working staff members who dedicate their time and effort to giving guests a fantastic experience within their hotel.

With a total of 10 categories, a variety of roles within the industry will be celebrated and now we are calling for managers, owners and people of the hospitality sector to put forward those they believe most deserving.

The nomination process is now underway, with the winners set to be announced at Hilton Olympia on October 20, the first night of the Independent Hotel Show.

The event, which is free for hoteliers to attend, takes the format of a bustling networking evening, complete with canapes and free-flowing Champagne from 7pm.

“We’re looking forward to what is sure to be a fantastic evening, and look forward to meeting and hearing about all the great work that people are doing to ensure that the boutique hotel industry continues to thrive,” said Dolan.

The Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Stars awards have attracted the backing of big names within the industry. As well as Sky Business, other sponsors of the event include Mitre Linen, Corby of Windsor and Pacific Direct.
