Harrison Spinks Beds

Established in 1840 Harrison Spinks is a family owned business specialising in luxury, hand crafted pocket spring beds for the commercial and hospitality sectors.

Story continues below

Stand number: B44

Harrison Spinks’ Hospitality Division has already developed a renowned reputation for providing some of the most revolutionary sleeping environments, for both guests and hoteliers, on the market.

With almost 180 years’ experience in bed and mattress making, Harrison Spinks has used this vast expertise to design mattresses specific for the hospitality industry that incorporate revolutionary, patented spring technology with home-grown natural fillings. This results in superior comfort, elevated support and, most importantly, a sumptuous sleeping environment for hotel guests.

Drawn on self-designed, in-house machines, Harrison Spinks’ home-grown pocket spring technology is some of the most innovative in the industry and has reinvented the way pocket sprung mattresses are manufactured. These springs perfectly contour to the shape of the sleeper’s body, offering a varying level of support and ensuring a good night’s sleep.

The beds within Harrison Spinks’ Hospitality range can be tailor-made to any specific requirements a hotel may have – whether it be width, length or height – to ensure optimum comfort and maximum support.

In addition to specifying the requirements for their mattresses, hoteliers can also tailor their headboards and bed bases to match any room’s décor. There are a range of fabrics to choose from, as well as six headboard variants, to ensure hoteliers can create beds that complement their existing interior style.

Every mattress in Harrison Spinks’ Hospitality collection is treated with the company’s BugGuard formula. All mattresses are also fully compliant with BS7177 Crib 5 Fire Retardancy.

AXOR & hansgrohe

At this year’s show, AXOR and hansgrohe, the two brands of the Hansgrohe Group, will again showcase ground-breaking innovations in bathroom and kitchen design. Visitors are invited to stand H30.

Stand number: H30

For 25 years, AXOR has been a pioneer in the development and production of avant-garde design for luxury bathrooms and kitchens. To celebrate this milestone, the brand will be showcasing two new products at this year’s exhibition.

On the stand, AXOR will be previewing a new shower range, launching in January 2019, for the first time globally.

AXOR will also showcase AXOR MyEdition, which was designed in collaboration with Phoenix Design. Conceived as an expression of personality, self-realisation and individual creativity, the new range features a variety of surface colours and patterns that enable the taps to be customised.

The product materials can be chosen from 15 AXOR FinishPlus special finishes and various interchangeable plate options, including two glass and four special materials: metal, wood, marble and leather.

hansgrohe: PowderRain spray technology welcomes a new showering experience

With its many award-winning innovations and designs, premium brand hansgrohe shapes the flow of water in the kitchen and bathroom.

Inspired by nature, with warm and misty rain droplets in mind, PowderRain spray is designed to envelop the body in a gentle cocoon of water. It is also designed to be quieter than traditional showers.

The PowderRain spray is much finer than conventional shower jets; instead of one spray outlet per nozzle, this new water method has six fine openings that transform the spray into thousands of micro droplets.

Morgan Studio

Following the current hotel design trends, Morgan Studio has developed a collection that offers ‘luxury for all’.

Stand number: C60

Stemming from an ambition to find a fresh and exciting approach to the archetypal tub chair, the Porto collection distinguishes itself with a combination of clean elegant lines and luxurious timber and upholstery detailing.

The Porto collection is light, minimal and versatile. The ergonomics and foam specification ensure comfort in both dining and lounge configurations. The products are engineered and detailed to create elegant yet affordable pieces as well as the option to add luxurious detailing.

There are many ways of achieving luxury with the Porto collection: five back variations, timber and metal base options as well as the scope for customisation inherent in the collection. Starting from a full tub, the collection expands to offer a sculptural arm that is cut out from the side of the shell and also a loose back cushion option. This can be upholstered in plain or quilted fabric. The three armchairs and two side chair options can be specified with an upholstered base, a show wood timber base, or a steel frame base. Further customisation accents include leather trim, a ferrule detail and custom RAL epoxy powder coat finishes.
