After a decade of informing and inspiring designers, hotel operators, owners and suppliers with interactive room sets, thoughtful conference sessions and new product launches, Sleep, Europe’s top curated hotel design and development event, has announced the next stage in its evolution.
This year, it becomes Sleep + Eat, reflecting the growing interdependence of restaurants, bars and hotels in creating the full hospitality experience.
The event will also be relocating to the National Hall in Olympia, enhancing the visitor experience thanks to the hall’s accessible, open-plan environment.
Speaking of the growth of the event, Sleep + Eat Brand director Mark Gordon says: “We’re delighted that this year will see the introduction of a separate Eat conference that will bring restaurant and bar design legends to the stage to discuss trends and Europe-wide industry innovations, as well as three Eat Sets, which promise to create more opportunities for visitor interaction and will push the boundaries of what R&B design is considered to be.”
As well as these new additions, the event’s much-loved staples will be returning.
Sleep + Eat will continue to comprise an international exhibition of design-led products from over 130 established and newcomer manufacturers, many of whom will be launching their latest collections; a conference moderated by Guy Dittrich bringing together some of the sector’s most pioneering and respected characters; roundtable opportunities for visitors to talk with industry leaders; the Sleep Set concept room installations and the pop-up Sleeper Bar designed this year by CRÈME/Jun Aizaki Architecture.
