Small Luxury Hotels announces new CEO as Filip Boyen resigns


Small Luxury Hotels of the World has appointed a new chief executive officer, as Filip Boyen resigns after three years at the helm.

The global, luxury, independent hotel consortium has welcomed Jean-François Ferret to the role, starting in September.

Based in the company’s London headquarters, Ferret will take responsibility for SLH’s international teams and will lead strategic direction of the brand’s portfolio of over 500 SLH hotels in more than 80 countries.

Ferret joins from his most recent role of CEO at Relais & Châteaux, where he held the position for more than six years.

During his tenure, he increased brand awareness, international sales and developed a new digital platform.

He also boasts experience with the likes of American Express Travel, Thomas Cook, and the Compass Group.
