Sopwell House in Hertfordshire has given its conference, banqueting and events space a complete makeover.
The hotel, which is owned and operated by AB Hotels and headed up by Rafi Bejerano, has refurbished its conference centre that comprises 14 meeting rooms arranged over two floors on site at the property.
The renovation encompassed everything from fresh new carpets to bespoke table linens.
New carpets and new chairs have been set against grey walls and taupe curtains to give the rooms a contemporary yet neutral feel.
Spaces include the royally named Mountbatten suite, St Alban suite, Lady Patricia suite and the Princess Victoria suite, with a grand lobby featuring two separate bar areas connecting the suites.
Artwork hangs throughout the corridor walls, while scents of Jasmine permeate the space.
The boardrooms feature a large 80” LCD HD television. Some of the boardrooms feature separate seating areas and all boast tea and coffee stations.
For alfresco meetings, the hotel offers an enchanting walled garden that can host activities including dodgems, archery, football, a bouncy castle or inflatable obstacle course.
The largest function suite, St Alban, can host up to 700 delegates reception style or 250 for a dinner and dance evening.
