Made for Life Foundation is set to host ‘SpaFest’ in Newquay, Cornwall.
The two-day conference will run between September 20-21 and aims to be a meaningful gathering for those in the Wellness Industry.
The Made for Life Foundation will welcome hotel owners, directors, spa directors and managers, spa and wellness consultants, business owners and anyone interested in the world of spa and wellness with an awareness of the benefits of corporate and social responsibility to The Atlantic Hotel in Newquay.
Founder of the foundation, Amanda Winwood, said: “SpaFest 2018 will provide people operating within the wellness sector with the opportunity to review their business in line with global trends and also take time out to look after their own wellness and personal development.”
Winwood added: “This is a place for honest conversations with colleagues in a relaxed environment. SpaFest is about bringing together a group of people across the wellness industry and enabling them to learn and connect, without having to sell or be sold to.”
A variety of topics will be covered throughout the discussion sessions, including how to blend wellness with commercial integrity, how to represent the industry authentically and how to make a difference with all profits from the event going to the Made for Life Foundation to provide holistic support for people going through cancer.
Fran Hayter of FH Consulting is one of the guest speakers and reflected on the previous SpaFest conference.
She said: “SpaFest was a totally new type of conference. Instead of focusing on sales and business with meetings and speeches in a formal atmosphere, we were nurtured, educated and learnt new but relevant topics from such inspirational speakers. There was a real feeling of the importance of wellbeing and mindfulness.”
The Made for Life Foundation (registered charity 1138846) was founded in 2008 by Amanda Winwood, MD of Made for Life Organics Skincare Company, to provide holistic support for people going through cancer.
