Springboard Charity seeks new chief executive


Following the planned retirement of Anne Pierce earlier this month, The Springboard Charity is now on the hunt for a new chief executive.

This year Springboard celebrates its 30th year, and is now looking for a new CE to ‘drive forward an exciting new chapter’ for the organisation.

The new chief executive will need to focus on ‘innovation and change’ to secure new income streams for the charity, whilst being a ‘strong ambassador and influential figurehead’.

Since its inception, Springboard has developed inspirational education programmes in schools, along with mentoring programmes for college and university students.

It has also been recognised for its award-winning employability programmes, designed to help people living in poverty, facing multiple barriers to work or experiencing long-term unemployment into sustainable work in the industry.

Its trading arm, Springboard UK has led numerous campaigns to promote the industry as a great place to work and activity to support the people and citizenship priorities of its investing business partners.
