Boutique hotel in Lymington Stanwell House has celebrated its ten years of ownership with the launch of a new restaurant.
The 29-bed hotel has been owned by Robert Milton and Victoria Crowe since 2007, and has now opened a new 2 AA Rosette restaurant Etain, under the guidance of new head chef Matt Noonan.
The new restaurant has been redesigned by Phi concepts and showcases looks with tabletops of tin, copper, and zinc along with a private dining area and bi-folding doors over the hotel garden.
Etain will also show off wines from regions around the world. The World of Wine series is a popular monthly wine event at the property, where head chef Noonan teams up with Max from Priory Wines to introduce a new region of choice.
“The last 10 years has seen us work, live and breathe Stanwell House Hotel and we are so proud to celebrate this anniversary,” says Robert Milton. “We are so grateful to our wonderful team who support us constantly to look after our guests and have helped us make Stanwell House the success that it is today. Our new restaurant Etain makes a move away from more traditional hotel formal dining. We are delighted to offer the best New Forest produce in a casual, cosy and welcoming environment.”
Alongside the 29 bedrooms, Stanwell House is home to the Drydock cocktail bar, Burcher & Co tapas restaurant, and TEN, the hotel’s private dining location.
