Manchester’s Stock Exchange Hotel has joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World as its newest UK member.
The hotel, housed in a Grade-II listed building in the city, opened in 2019 after a six-year renovation project headed up by GG Hospitality.
Co-owned by former Manchester United teammates Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs and hotelier Winston Zahra as part of Finestday Ltd, the building, which first started operating in 1906, was transformed into a 40-bedroom hotel and restaurant.
The hotel is managed and operated by GG Hospitality with the food and beverage operation, including The Bull & Bear eatery overseen by chef Tom Kerridge.
Now, after a successful evaluative process, Stock Exchange Hotel joins 520 other hotels as part of the SLH community and the first in Manchester.
Jacqui Griffiths, general manager of Stock Exchange Hotel, commented: “Stock Exchange is pleased to join such an incredible community of hotels. Small Luxury Hotel’s commitment to excellence and high standards is well aligned with Stock Exchange’s exemplary approach to customer service, style and spirit.”
She added “It’s a thrilling time here at Stock Exchange, with the recent reopening of the hotel, and our new partnership with SLH is part of a wider vision of growth, creativity and excellence at Stock Exchange Hotel.”
