Storrs Hall in Windermere in the Lake District has unveiled its new Lake View Lodges after a £1m renovation project.
The four-star hotel closed its Woodland Lodges this year in January and has spent the last six months investing £1m into the transformation to create six new luxury lake-view rooms.
The new additions are situated within the hotel’s woodland and each feature a hot tub with views of Lake Windermere.
Andrew Nicholson, general manager at Storrs Hall, said: “We are very much looking forward to opening our new luxury lodges in the late autumn. Our extensive refurbishment means that each room now has a breath-taking view of Lake Windermere, a hot tub and terrace, allowing guests to relax in their own private space for a more secluded break.”
Storrs Hall is a Grade-II listed Georgian mansion, established in 1890 and set in 17 acres of private grounds in Windermere.
In 1997, the property was bought by Lancashire businessman Les Hindle.
