Marquis of Cornwallis, a luxury boutique hotel and restaurant in Suffolk, is celebrating after winning an induction plate in a prize draw at Hotelympia run by Exclusive Ranges.
The boutique hotel in the village of Upper Layham is due to open this summer when its extensive transformation to turn the 17th pub into a new hotel, restaurant and bar, is complete.
And now the property will benefit from the use of a Menu System SINA One induction plate worth £2,700, after general manager’s name Winston Wright was pulled out in the draw.
The award-winning single induction plate is able to deliver 3kW of power in seconds, from a compact footprint, whilst allowing control of that heat at all times with patented slidecontrol technology and automatic pan recognition.
GM Wright said that the new piece of equipment will help the hotel to achieve “the right kitchen for Marquis”.
Winston said of his win: “This is ironic really as I intended to speak to Exclusive Ranges about a cooking suite for our kitchen at the Marquis of Cornwallis; we are thrilled to have been chosen to receive the SINA induction hob.”
Trevor Burke, managing director, Exclusive Ranges, added: “Hotelympia is the perfect platform for us to meet existing customers, speak to new contacts and to demonstrate our range of equipment as we feel it is important to meet face to face and let people try the technology for themselves.”
