A Surrey guest house that uses its own electric car to ferry guests back and forth from Gatwick Airport has gone on the market for £1.25m.
Springwood Guest House in Horley has been owned by Sue Denman since 2007, who has carried out an extensive refurbishment programme across the property under her ownership.
The 13-bedroom business is situated close to Gatwick Airport and benefits from this inbound and outbound trade.
Denman commented: “It was an exhibition in 2003 at the V&A which cemented my love of all things Art Deco and influenced the refurbishment of Springwood Guest House, for which I must also credit our builder Lukasz and local soft furnishings expert, Sheila Harvey.”
Nick Earee of Fleurets is marketing the property and commented: “The guide price not only includes the property and business but also the hotel’s clientele database as well as an electric car, used to transport guests to and from Gatwick airport. We anticipate that the guest house will attract interest from a wide audience, and have already had a few viewings.”
