Tewkesbury Park mixes up the mini-bar with in-room spa deal

Tewkesbury Park in the Cotswolds is revamping the idea of a traditional mini-bar by offering guests an in-room spa bar delivered to their door.

The hotel, which is headed up by general manager Patrick Jones, has introduced the in-room offering to appeal to guests who want some beauty DIY in the comfort of their own room.

The in-room spa bar comes complete with step-by-step instructions on how to use the products, from Natural Spa Factory, while Champagne and Cotswold chocolates can also be delivered on request.

The new concept has been curated and developed by spa manager, Abby Locke, with three treatment bundles to choose from.

Tewkesbury Park recently completed an extensive four-year renovation costing nearly £10m, with the addition of nine suites, two new spa rooms, two meeting rooms, an orangery, a cocktail lounge and the Cotswolds suite, an events suite – complete with a wood-fired pizza oven and terrace.

All other communal areas and leisure facilities have also been completely refurbished.

The hotel was acquired by Claire McIntosh, her mum and brother in 2014.
