The Annual Hotel Conference, scheduled to take place in September, has been forced to cancel this year’s event due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
The conference and exhibition will instead host a virtual event in October to allow a space for peers and colleagues to come together and share best practice despite the physical event not going ahead.
The Annual Hotel conference was due to take place at the Manchester Convention Centre from September 21 – 22.
A statement on the event’s website said: “We are hugely disappointed to announce that we have been forced to cancel the 2020 edition of The Annual Hotel Conference (AHC), which was scheduled to take place at the Manchester Convention Centre, Manchester UK, between the 21st – 22nd September 2020. Unfortunately, due to the on-going COVID-19 circumstances, we’re not in a position to bring over 1,000 members of The AHC community together to learn, network and be inspired.
“We recognise that staying connected is more important now than perhaps ever before therefore we’d like to invite you to join us at our virtual event; The AHC Reimagined: Reconnecting UK Hospitality, which will take place on Thursday 8th October. Registration will be opening soon!”
Held on Thursday 8 October, The AHC Reimagined will see professionals from across the hospitality sector connect and learn to help business progress.
The event will host both one-to-one network sessions as well as seminars from industry experts.
