The Arch London is set to re-open with a new name this month following a multi-million pound transformation.
The hotel, which is also set to join the Small Luxury Hotels of The World (SLH) portfolio, will be relaunched as The Prince Akatoki London on September 16.
The decision was taken to rebrand after the property was purchased by StayWell Holdings, a subsidiary of Japan’s Prince Hotels, from the Bejerano family’s AB Hotels group last November.
It will have 82 beds and is the first opening in the Prince Akatoki brand, which has ambitions towards global expansion.
According to SLH, guests will be “enlightened by tranquil minimalist interiors that hero craftsmanship” and “encouraged to slow down, be in the moment and practice the art of living.”
Guests to the revamped hotel can expect mellow tones, clean lines and floor-to-ceiling feature windows that frame spectacular city view, while it will include a fusion restaurant TOKii and a rare selection of whiskies and sakes at The Malt Lounge & Bar.
