The Coniston Hotel Country Estate & Spa, in North Yorkshire, has recently made a number of promotions created a new role to strengthen its food and beverage management team.
Daniel Dinu has been appointed as restaurant manager for the hotel’s brasserie restaurant, Huntsman’s Lodge. Dinu joins the team from former Michelin Star restaurant, The Box Tree in Ilkley.
Louise Bolton, director at Coniston Hotel Country Estate & Spa said: “It’s a very exciting time for Daniel to join us; with two different restaurant concepts, we want to ensure that customers receive the same high standard of customer service and we feel that Daniel’s experience will bring a lot to the team at Huntsman’s Lodge.
Two promotions have also been made internally with Lewis Mclean being promoted to assistant food and beverage manager and David Clos to restaurant manager for the hotel’s flagship restaurant, Macleod’s.
Bolton added: “Lewis and David have been paramount in our successes to date and feel they will continue to achieve in their new roles.”
The Coniston Estate, which is owned by the Bannister family, now employs over 200 staff and puts its recent 2 AA Rosette success with Macleod’s down to continued investment in its facilities and people.
