Birmingham-based hotel, The Edgbaston, has announced the opening of its new boutique bedrooms, bringing the total number of bedrooms to 20.
Owners Stuart and Darren Insall planned the multimillion pound refurbishment in 2017, after claiming the Victorian building was in poor condition and was in need of significant investment.
The new bedrooms feature large sash windows, high ceilings and retain much of the original architecture and elements.
The Art Deco themed bedrooms also include free standing roll top baths, air conditioning, Elemis products and Nespresso machines.
A new development kitchen has also opened as part of the expansion, with the focus on enhancing the hotel’s breakfast and afternoon tea offering, alongside the upcoming launch of a new cocktail menu next month.

The site at 16 Highfield Road was originally built between 1840 and 1850 and is an independent family-owned hotel located just outside central Birmingham.
