The Grand Folkestone has announced a new partnership with HIT Training that will see up to 20 apprentices develop within the business.
The hotel will create a number of apprentice programmes within the business led by HIT Training in development with the Sodexo UK Apprenticeship Team, with disciplines in a range of sectors such as food service, hospitality management, administration and leadership.
Speaking of working with Sodexo and HIT Training, Robert Richardson FIH, general manager at The Grand said: “One of the most important tasks of any employer is the development of their team. Having led The Grand to becoming an industry recognised award-winning employer was no small task and I want to work with companies that value our business as much as we do.”

The Grade-II listed, four-star property comprises three restaurant and two bar, as well as 20 bedrooms.
