The Hoxton Holborn opening set back

The Hoxton Holborn, the much-anticipated second property from the new owners of The Hoxton Hotel in east London still does not have a confirmed operating date despite trailing a May 2014 opening.

Planning permission was granted for the central London site in January 2012 though the works are not thought to impact on the Grade II-listed property which was previously occupied by BT.

A spokeswoman said it is now hoped that the 178-bed hotel will open “by late summer.”

It is likely to be run on similar lines to its sister property with complimentary breakfast bags delivered to rooms early in the morning and the running of most of the public spaces outsourced to the Soho House Group.
