The Hoxton ventures into camping with launch of pop-up Oxfordshire experience

The Hoxton has announced the launch of Camp Hox, a Hoxton-style camping experience that will pop-up in Oxfordshire for the month of August.

12 lotus tents situated in the grounds of the 18th-century Eynsham Hall will be available to book for a minimum 2-night stay in August, with the price including a free night at one of the brand’s three London hotels.

Sharan Pasricha, founder and CEO of Ennismore, the owners of The Hoxton, said the idea was something the group had been ‘thinking about pulling off for years’ but that it made much more sense now.

He says: “We know a lot of our guests are still weary to travel into cities, so we put our heads together and thought, let’s give them all the things they love about The Hoxton in the countryside. Camp Hox gives everyone the opportunity to escape to the great outdoors for a couple nights, then spend a night with us in London at one of our three Hoxton hotels whenever they’re ready to hit up the city again.”

Each lotus tent is decked out with a proper bed, Hoxton pillows and duvets, greenery from Patch plants, and it comes with a private powder room, toilet and shower.

All guests will also get a ‘Hox’ breakfast bag delivered each morning, a stocked fridge and a bottle of Altano natural wine, Graham’s Port and tonic bar with communal fire pits. Each tent will also boast its own BBQ, cooking equipment and complimentary pot-washing service.
