Newly-relaunched luxury London hotel, The Lanesborough, has become one of seven hotels to join marketing consortium Leading Hotels of the World.
The hotel, which reopened in July following an extensive 18-month renovation programme, will now become part of the global portfolio of properties.
The Leading Hotels of the World collection currently consists of over 375 hotels across the globe, with the consortium carefully cherry picking each of its new members to join.
The Lanesborough is the only UK property out of the seven hotels to join the consortium this time around.
Home to 93 bedrooms, the hotel was restored to its former Georgian glory this year, opening a new fine dining restaurant, Celeste, under the watchful eye of chef patron Eric Frechon which has just received its first Michelin star.
The Lanesborough is managed by Oetker Collection, which also includes Le Bristol Paris, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France and Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden, amongst others.
