The Langham leans on Instagram to give out recipes and cocktail making tips

Five-star London hotel, The Langham, is using social media to stay connected with guests during the Covid-19 lockdown.

The hotel off Regent Street in the capital is posting special videos on Instagram featuring cocktail making tips and recipes from its chefs to keep consumers engaged whilst the coronavirus outbreak crisis continues.

The first post was from bar manager Anna Sebastian who stepped into the Artesian Virtual Bar to give instructions on how to mix up a classic salt-rimmed margarita.

Yesterday kitchen manager at the Sauce by The Langham, the hotel’s cooking school, Millie Simpson, posted a recipe for roasted tomato sauce, which was well-received by users.

The Langham comprises 333 bedrooms and the Roux at The Landau restaurant, as well as the cookery school. It is not actually known if the hotel has closed its doors to guests completely following the latest lockdown advice from the government on Monday.

The hotel is part of Langham Hospitality Group, which also includes 11 hotels in Mainland China.
