A new boutique hotel is set to open in Dublin next month, as hospitality group Press Up Entertainment looks to strengthen its footprint across the city.
The Mayson is a new design-led hotel from independently-owned Irish group Press Up, which is the company behind The Dean and numerous bars and restaurants in the region.
The new hotel is set on the banks of the River Liffey and comprises 94 bedrooms and suites set across five floors.
The Mayson itself consists of two protected buildings that have been sewn together, a traditional dockers pub and a 19th century timber warehouse.
Alongside the bedrooms, there is a Power Gym, The Bottle Boy Pub, The Green Dolphin Barber, The Mayson Bar, DIME Coffee, Ryleigh’s Rooftop Restaurant and The TImberyard event space.
The Power Gym features fitness facilities, plus a pool, sauna, steam room, while The Mayson Bar serves cocktails and an all-day menu of comfort food dishes.
The Mayson bedrooms include rainfall power showers, premium Irish toiletries from Lake House brand, Netflix enabled Samsung Smart TVs, Marshall Amps, Record Players, Guitars, Smeg Fridges, Dyson Hair Dryers, and Mayson Munchie Trays.
