Luxury Dublin hotel, The Merrion, is gearing up to unveil its new spa development this autumn.
The hotel, which first opened 21 years ago, has created a new development to replace its original spa across the lower ground floor of the building to create a ‘centre of beauty beneath the hustle and bustle of the city’.
The new spa will comprise six treatment rooms, a steam room and sauna, gym and 18-metre infinity pool with hand-painted mural backdrop. There is also a new salon operated by hairdresser Ciaran Nevin as well as physiotherapy services and personal training facilities.
Designed by Georgian interiors expert Alice Roden, the new spa boasts neutral colours, soft Irish fabrics and delicate lighting to create a calming space.
Striking artwork is also a key factor in the space.
The Merrion Spa has partnered with French skincare brand Biologique Recherche and ESPA to offer treatments, while the Vitality Club Bar provides the F&B.
The Hastings Group owns its share of the Merrion hotel through its 50pc shareholding in Landmark Investment Co Ltd.
The remaining 50pc of the Merrion is owned by businessmen Lochlann Quinn and billionaire Martin Naughton, who owns appliance firm Glen Dimplex.
