The Property Supplier Ltd on the hunt for more hotels after first hospitality acquisition

The Lion Hotel in Builth Wells, Powys has been sold to The Property Supplier Ltd as the company reveals plans to acquire a handful of other hotels before the end of 2019.

Andrew Whelan of leisure property specialists Fleurets brokered the transaction, for which the 18-bedroom hotel was marketed on behalf of a private individual and off a guide price of £475,000.

The final selling price is undisclosed.

Shaun O’Neil, MD of the purchasing company, The Property Supplier Ltd, commented: “Having bought The Lion Hotel we now want to further develop the trade to the next level, for which we will engage the local community in this process.”

The Property Supplier Ltd, which is a family run company by Shaun, Leon and Chantel O’Neil,  also confirmed that they are looking to buy a further four hotels throughout the remainder of 2019.

Andrew Whelan of Fleurets added: “We were delighted to be instructed on this hotel and we are actively looking for more hotels like the Lion Hotel to introduce to good potential purchasers such as Shaun.”
