Boutique hotel, The Roseate Reading is to open a new restaurant on July 4, as part of a phased reopening plan of the business.
The 55-bedroom hotel, which is part of India-based Bird Group, will open The Reading Room headed up by executive chef Rajesh Maharjan this weekend, with a la carte and tasting menus on offer.
The restaurant now boasts a new bar area with panelled glass displays and secluded seating, while the outdoor patio and new layout has been designed to comply with distancing rules.
Executive director of Roseate Hotels and Resorts, Ravi Birdy, has pledged the brand’s commitment to support the local talent and the developing arts and culture community in Berkshire. “In time, The Reading Room restaurant will become a place known for collaborating with talent offering many the chance to showcase artwork, new novels or stories in their stunning bookshelves and will host events such as stand up poetry readings and theatre. As you may expect, plans for this to launch are on hold at this time.”
Roseate Hotels & Resorts has also launched its own ‘Care by Roseate’ touchless hospitality initiative and invested in new technology to reassure guests.
