The Runnymede on Thames Hotel & Spa has relaunched its riverside lounge after a £350k revamp project.
The hotel has invested in creating a new space that boasts floor-to-ceiling views of the river, with a ‘playful and innovative design’.
A selection of new F&B options has also been introduced to complement the changes.
Devised by Jenny Andersson, Design Director at London-based interiors and graphics agency, Kinnersley Kent Design, The Lounge reflects an extension of the river, incorporating a colour palette of blues and rusty oranges, whilst creating individual and inclusive spaces.
A freestanding central fireplace is the focal point of the newly re-imagined space, enhanced by a commissioned piece of artwork from artist Stephanie Ho which is on display.
The new menu comprises ‘food on the go’ items.
The relaunch also marks the start of a partnership with SWIG wines.
“We’re delighted to launch our stylish new Lounge concept at The Runnymede on Thames, ensuring we continue to offer our guests a thoroughly modern experience with a relaxed atmosphere, reflective of our independent spirit” – Sue Wolton, general manager.
The Runnymede on Thames Hotel is owned by Ralph Trustees Limited.
