The Swan Inn, in Rowberrow, has opened following a major renovation and becoming the latest addition to the Butcombe Pub and Inns Collection.
Following the success of the group’s The Methuen Arms, The Swan Inn has launched with nine new bedrooms, a revamped lounge area and bar.
The pub, which dates back to the 1700s, has been transformed in the project spearheaded by Concorde BGW.
The work has seen the original building expand to include the new rooms, with five in the main house and four sitting separately in a converted barn within the grounds.
Each bedroom comes furnished with Wi-Fi, Roberts Radios, rain head showers, mini-fridges, smart TVs and complimentary Bramley botanicals in glass bottles in the bathrooms.
A new lounge, for staying guests, hosts an honesty bar equipped with healthy snacks.
Jayson Perfect, Managing Director of Pubs and Inns at Liberation Group, says: “The Swan is a beloved country pub, a hub of the community, serving hearty food and proper beers. It’s so rewarding to see the development since we took ownership in 2018 and we can’t wait to welcome the locals and our first overnight guests to experience The Swan’s new offering.”
The Swan is the seventh addition to the growing Butcombe Pub & Inns collection, part of the Liberation Group, in the last three years.
