The Wave Garden Spa in Snowdonia has reported an 81% increase in revenue within just three months of implementing cloud based software.
The spa, which opened a year ago, signed with spa and leisure management software Trybe at the start of 2022. Comparing the three months prior to the three months after Trybe was installed, the Spa team noticed:
- Total Revenue quadrupled
- Spa Experiences had approximately doubled
- Treatments rose by more than a third
- Average Spend was up 13%
Another element of the Trybe software that appealed to the Wave Garden Spa team was the reporting function, which allowed them to audit and amend their treatment menu to increase bookings and revenue.
Aisha Evans, Spa Manager at The Wave Garden Spa, explains: “We wanted to utilise the reports benefits that Trybe could facilitate us with. As an example, we identified that one of our 85min Ritual Treatments wasn’t selling as well as the other. We had meetings with the founder of our product house, Tribe 517 on how we could improve this treatment to reinvigorate it and make it as appealing to our guests as our bespoke top selling Hot Wave Massage.
“We are now in the process of creating a new treatment that incorporates elements of the Hot Wave Massage which we hope will be just as popular with guests. We wouldn’t have taken the leap to review this treatment if we hadn’t had the data from the software”
The Wave Garden Spa, based in Adventure Parc Snowdonia in Conwy was originally established in 2015, as purportedly the world’s first inland surf lagoon.
In 2021, the adventure destination added the Hilton Hotel Garden Inn and Wave Garden Spa to its estate, giving guests the opportunity for longer visits and acting as a base for those looking to explore Snowdonia.
