Boutique hotel, The Wellesley in Knightsbridge London has introduced a new white truffle menu, designed to target the most discerning of customers.
Designed by the hotel’s head chef Sebastiono Cioffi, the menu features dishes that use white Alba truffles, dubbed the ‘king of truffles’, and sourced in Northern Italy.
The new menu offers seven new dishes – ranging from light beef tartare to parmesan risotto – and is topped off with a rich and creamy burrata pizza, coming in at £200.
Each dish will be served with five grams of truffle and will be available at the hotel’s Oval Restaurant.
The hotel in general has an Italian theme, with the restaurant inspired by the glamour of the 1920’s and Art Deco features, while the bathrooms throughout The Wellesley are made from slabs of veined Arabescato Corchia marble from the Cararra region.
