Tradelinens snaps up sponsorship for sought-after General Manager title at Boutique Hotelier Awards

Luxury linen company, Tradelinens, is pleased to announce its sponsorship of The General Manager of the Year category at the renowned Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards.

It’s the first time Tradelinens will sponsor the awards, which recognise the contributions of industry professionals from the country’s top luxury and boutique hotels.

Tradelinens’ sponsorship of the General Manager Award is a natural choice, having built a reputation as the go-to supplier for premium linen and providing expert personal service among General Managers for the UK’s most iconic 5-star hotels.

This award category is one of the most coveted at the event.

Despite only being introduced for last year’s awards, the category attracted such a huge number of high calibre entries that judges decided to issue a ‘highly commended’ award along with the main winner. Last year, Pedro Bento from Longueville Manor took home the honour having delivered over 28 years of excellent service at the hotel.

For over 30 years, Tradelinens has experienced confident growth under industry experts Robert Lancaster Gaye and Joe Molloy.

In early 2015, the company launched Tradelinens Boutique to cater for new hospitality businesses from smaller independent hotels and spas to property companies and interior designers.

Later that same year they launched Tielle Love Luxury by Tradelinens, the online retail branch of the business. Tradelinens believes in doing business responsibly and recently became the first UK trade linen business to join the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), a scheme that aims to make cotton a sustainable commodity.

Joe Molloy, Co-Founder of Tradelinens, said: “The sponsorship of this award gives us an opportunity to show our recognition of the excellent standards and service within the hospitality industry. We look forward to seeing the nominations and celebrating the very best talent from right across the sector at the awards ceremony in October.”

The Awards take place on 17 October 2017 at The Hilton Olympia, London, the first night of the Independent Hotel Show and nominations will open in July online.
