TripAdvisor has launched a new suite of ‘Travel Safe’ tools, available for free to hoteliers, to help rebuild customer confidence post Covid-19.
The new function will allow guests to find, filter and validate health and safety information with more than 13,850 active TripAdvisor properties already activated the new feature.
The tools include: health and safety checklists with expertise from public and global health organisations; a search filter; traveller reviews with a new review submission form prompting users to comment on safety measures and a new direct message function with business owners.
For hotel owners, businesses can now select safety measures they have in place by accessing the checklist in the TripAdvisor management centre for free. There is also the option to add a description of the steps the venue is taking on cleanliness.

It will provide consumers with the information and reassurance they need when they travel, while allowing businesses to build trust by highlighting the concrete steps they are taking to keep their customers safe.”
