Hotels across the UK are pledging room nights in an initiative that plans to say thank you to ICU workers, whilst helping to signal the return of domestic travel following the pandemic.
With over 700 nights confirmed so far from leading brands including Z Hotels, Grantley Hall, The Beaumont, Cowdray Estate, Batty Langley’s, Hazlitt’s, The Rookery and Flemings Mayfair, the scheme from Nights On Us, over the next 12 months, asks properties to offer out rooms that otherwise would have been unoccupied while the hotel industry returns to some form of normality.
Hotels taking part receive full marketing support from the Nights On Us team, who have over 50 years of experience in the luxury travel industry and are developing key partnerships with leading UK press partners and influencers to help spread the message.
Jacob Pickering, co-founder of Nights On Us says: “Though times are clearly challenging for the hotel sector at present, we think there’s no better time to form a dedicated collective that utilises the incredible compassion that we’ve experienced during our time working with hotels across the world.”
With an ultimate aim of spreading a collaborative thank-you and helping to rebuild confidence in the industry, hotels are being asked to contact the Nights On Us team at firstname.lastname@example.org with room pledges to help support the campaign.
Nights On Us was founded by Jacob Pickering, Tom Harding, James Wales, Greg Früchtenicht and Chetan Shah, together they have over 40 years of experience within the luxury travel and hospitality sector. Harding and Wales are the founders of bespoke travel planning tool nemo travel and Shah founded Micebook, a digital hub for global event planners.
