Following a successful year for The Hoxton, the brand is poised for an exciting 2018 as it gears up to take on the United States with three new hotels.
The booming boutique brand, which opened its fourth property, The Hoxton, Paris, in August, will launch hotels in Williamsburg, New York; Portland, Oregon; and Los Angeles, California.
Once open, The Hoxton portfolio will consist of eight properties, including its originals in Shoreditch and Holborn, in London.
The Hoxton Williamsburg will mark the brand’s first US opening when it launched in the summer next year and will be located on the site of the former Rosenwach factory. The hotel will have 175 bedrooms and vibrant public spaces, icnlduing three restaurants, a terrace, courtyard spaces and a rooftop bar.
Ennismore Design Studio worked with Soho House on the public areas to reconstruct the original carriage house which was formerly on the site into an architectural feature within the lobby.
Situated in an iconic building dating back to 1906, The Hoxton, Portland will be The Hoxton’s second US opening. Located in Portland’s Old Town Chinatown, the property was originally built as a hotel but has been vacant since 2007. The Hoxton, Portland will have 113 bedrooms, a rooftop restaurant, a basement bar, and vibrant, welcoming public spaces. Similar to other Hoxton hotels, the interiors will be developed by Ennismore Design Studio in collaboration with a local creatives and artists, the restaurants will be run by a local chef.
The Hoxton, Downtown LA is set in the 10-storey Los Angeles Railway building, and will have 174 rooms designed by Ennismore Design Studio, a ground floor restaurant and basement bar operated by a local chef, along with The Hoxton’s first rooftop pool with restaurant, due to open in late 2018.
