Grasmere’s newest hotel, Victorian House Hotel, has reopened its doors with a new addition to its offering as it looks to cash in on the staycation market.
The 19-bedroom hotel, which is owned and operated by Serena von der Heyde and the sister to Georgian House Hotel in London, has opened a new Shepherd’s Hut that is now open to bookings.
Victorian House Hotel opened in March, right before the lockdown and the property operates as the ‘country cousin’ to its city counterpart.
The new Shepherd’s Hut boasts French doors that back on to a private seating area by the riverbank, a firepit, vintage furniture, underfloor heating and sits away from the hotel at the end of the garden.
The hotel’s 19 bedrooms and guest spaces have all been designed by Laura Fulmine.
