Visit Britain’s We’re Good to Go’ new industry standard has seen a strong take-up from hospitality and tourism business eager to reassure guests ahead of reopening next month.
The new official UK mark has seen over 4,800 applications since its launch, and over 2,400 businesses across England, Northern Ireland and Scotland approved for the scheme.
The platform for Welsh businesses is due to be launched next week.
“We’re Good To Go” is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
Businesses can apply online and applications take approximately 20 minutes to fill in.
Upon successful completion of the application, businesses are sent a link to download a certificate, mark and a toolkit with practical steps for telling customers that business is Good to Go.
Lake District Hotels and Rockliffe Hall are two hotels that have already been approved for the new scheme.
