Warrington hotel with Italian restaurant goes on the market for over £1m

Villaggio

An established hotel and restaurant in Warrington has gone on the market through Christie + Co with an asking price of £1.250m.

The Villaggio Hotel has been owned by Mustafa and Mary Turkoza for the past 19 years, who are now pursuing retirement from the business, having built up a strong reputation and profitable trading levels during their tenure.

The hotel comprises 25 bedrooms and a ground-floor Italian restaurant, with space for 130 covers.

There are also two function rooms, both with a private bar, accommodating for 210 covers collectively.

A car park on site can hold up to 42 vehicles, plus additional parking is available in the evenings with the use of the adjacent health centre’s 43 vehicle car park.

This is of particular benefit to the Italian restaurant, as it allows for a greater number of non-resident diners and greater accessibility for customers.

Tom O’Malley, senior business agent – licensed at Christie & Co who is handling the sale, comments: “The current owners have worked hard to establish a strong reputation for the Villaggio Hotel during their tenure. As a result, they enjoy a profitable business that is an integral part of the community within Warrington.

“Potential purchasers could look to capitalise upon the business’ extensive function space, as the two separate rooms can effectively cater for weddings, birthdays and a whole host of special occasions. By developing this aspect of the business further there is scope to drive revenue and profitability.”

The Villagio Hotel is offered for sale on a freehold basis off an asking price of £1,250,000.
