Warwickshire boutique doubles in size after £1.5m refurbishment project

A Warwickshire hotel has undergone a major refurbishment to take its number of bedrooms from eight to 18 and install a restaurant and bar.

The Limes Country Lodge in Earlswood has increased in size as part its £1.5m project and created ten jobs for the local area.

The property is owned by managing director David Morris, who purchased the hotel in 2006 and now runs it with his son.

He said now, thanks to the support of a funding package from Barclays, the new additions mean that The Limes Country Lodge can now accommodate more guests as well as offer weddings, conferences and private functions.

Mohammed Fiaz, relationship director at Barclays, added: “David is a great example of a businessman who has steadily grown his business, having identified the demand for accommodation locally and the opportunity to expand into the wedding and conference market. The hotel and the grounds look amazing which I’m sure will attract many more customers.”
