The Wellesley appoints new operations manager in first move under Marriott

Luxury Knightsbridge boutique The Wellesley has announced the appointment of a new operations manager, just two months after the hotel joined one of the brands under the Marriott umbrella.

The 36-room hotel has welcomed Chiara Vierchowod to the role, following news that The Wellesley became part of Marriott’s The Luxury Collection of hotels in April 2017.

The brand is one of eight of Marriott’s contemporary luxury brands.

Vierchowod joins with more than ten years experience in UK hospitality, with managerial stints at The Kensington, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, Chelsea Football Club, The Hoxton and The Bentley London.

Speaking on her new appointment, Vierchowod commented: “I am delighted to join the team at The Wellesley Knightsbridge, particularly at such an exciting time for the hotel.

“Becoming part of The Luxury Collection is a pivotal moment in the hotel’s history and we are excited to see what the partnership has in store. The Wellesley Knightsbridge has gone from strength to strength since its opening in 2012, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to help drive its success even further with an unrivalled level of customer service.”
