She worked in salons across London before setting up her own venue, LA Groovy.

Ye Olde Bell opened its new multi-million pound spa in 2017.

Set over two levels, on the ground floor it features 10 thermal experiences, indoor/ outdoor vitality pool, alfresco relaxation and Herb Garden Brasserie. The treatment rooms, bespoke thermal therapies and beauty salon are located on the top floor.

The salon offers views over the surrounding countryside and features Roberto Cavalli wallpaper designed with 6,000 crystals.

Spa director, Sadie Levack said: “We wanted an exceptional hairstylist to complete our spa offering and La Groovy was the perfect partner. Ellie is extremely talented and passionate – qualities we share at Ye Olde Bell. We’re really happy that she has joined the team.”

The new offering will target hotel guests, locals as well as brides-to-be.

Ye Olde Bell is headed up by Kate Firth.
