A boutique guesthouse in the Yorkshire Dales has opened a new pizza restaurant to mark the final stage of its renovation project.

Brownber Hall, which was acquired by Peter Jaques and Amanda Walker in 2016, has been transformed over the past 18 months into an eight-bed boutique, with a new Neapolitan pizza eatery the ‘final piece of the puzzle’.

The Grade-II listed was taken over by young entrepreneurs Jaques and Walker off a guide price of £645k, with the couple investing a further £30k into its refurbishment since.

The Victorian building dates from 1860 and retains many period features including fireplaces with ceramic tiles, Victorian wooden floors, original stained glass windows and stunning original William Morris wallpaper, combined with contemporary art, Moroccan rugs and retro velvet sofas.
