He has had demonstrable success in people development, increasing brand recognition, forging long term industry links and is an inspiring ambassador for his property and for his industry, all with limited resources at his disposal.
Robert’s achievements over the last 12 months include securing financial growth for the hotel in a challenging coastal location, increasing guest satisfaction and TripAdvisor reviews as well leading the hotel to win several industry awards.
He has also achieved Disability Confident status as an employer, developed 20 new funded hospitality apprenticeships and increased team retention with turnover rate now at 12.1%.
