The Beaumont Hotel, Mayfair, London, has announced the appointment of Ben Boeynaems as its new executive head chef.
Currently head chef at The Zetter Group, he will take up the new post mid-February.
His kitchen work began before he had finished school.
He has previously worked at Petrus and Claridge’s for the Gordon Ramsay Group; the Capital Hotel; the Bingham in Richmond and The Goring Hotel.
At The Beaumont he will head up The Colony Grill Room and the Magritte Bar.
As well as being The Beaumont Hotel’s new executive chef, he is also a current finalist for 2020 National Chef of the Year.
Boeynaems commented: “I am excited to be joining The Beaumont and feel my ingredient-led, seasonal and classic-based cooking style will be a perfect fit for The Colony’s timeless menu of transatlantic favourites.”
