Seren, an independently-owned hospitality collection of hotels and restaurants in Wales, has launched a new hospitality management services business for Welsh venues.
Seren says it aims to create hospitality excellence with the new business venture, as well as ‘a true sense of hiraeth’ – a Welsh term that describes an earnest longing for a place that holds some nostalgia deep in your soul.
Using the team’s experience and expertise in the luxury hotel sector, Seren is confident it can add significant value to any hotel or restaurant, as well as creating ‘exceptional guest experiences’ aligned with operational performance to maximise return for owners and shareholders.
The collection says it is now seeking partners who share their passion for exceptional hospitality to ‘build an exciting future’ together.
The Seren team boasts a mix of diverse sector and functional expertise and will use their breadth of skills and experience to ‘drive true thought leadership, meaningful change and innovation.’
The Seren approach is designed to deliver the desired ambition for each venue, inspired by its place in the local visitor economy.
Seren says it respects that every hotel is unique and its approach is holistic to ensure they can fully realise the potential of every venue and person they work with.
Neil Kedward, Seren’s chief executive, commented: “We have been openly talking about taking this step for many years, while quietly constructing a strong Seren Management team that would enable us to make it happen.
“I worked in management consulting for many years prior to returning to Wales, and having carefully built a great team filled with exceptional hospitality leaders and professionals, this feels like the next logical step for our business. We could not be more excited about introducing ourselves to possible future clients and partners.”
Seren is a family-owned single management business, comprising Grove of Narberth in Pembrokeshire, Penmaenuchaf in Dolgellau, Coast in Saundersfoot, and Beach House in Oxwich.
